Quality Assurance Setup

Quality assurance & quality control setup

Clear quality control from receiving to dispatch.

Good quality is rarely an accident. It comes from knowing what “right” looks like for each material and product, and checking it at the right moments. I help food businesses set up quality control that is clear, practical and easy for the team to keep up.

What I can help with

How we can work on it together

01

Specifications

Clear raw material, packaging and finished goods specifications your team and suppliers can work from.

02

QC checkpoints

Incoming inspection, in-process checks and outgoing release, with simple forms and checklists.

03

Laboratory testing

Choosing what to test, coordinating third-party laboratories and keeping track of the results.

04

Suppliers

Gathering and maintaining the supplier documents that support what you buy.

Where this comes from

I began my career running physico-chemical and microbiological tests on raw materials and finished goods, and I have since supervised quality control from incoming goods to outgoing products, most recently as head of the Quality Management Section at DSWD’s National Resource and Logistics Management Bureau.

Questions

Good to know

Where do we start if we have no QA system yet?

Usually with your most important raw materials and your finished product: agreeing what good looks like, then deciding what to check and when.

Can you help us work with a testing laboratory?

Yes. I have coordinated third-party laboratory testing and can help you decide what to test and how to read the results.

Other ways I can help

Let’s talk

Would you like to talk it through?

Tell me a little about your product and where you are in the process. I will happily share what I would suggest, with no pressure at all.
