At Hamburg Trading Corporation I handled the company’s LTO and CPR applications for its products, and in November 2024 I completed the FDA’s own Training on Food Product Registration and Other Authorizations and Core Processes (TFPR-ACP).

What is the difference between an LTO and a CPR?
The License to Operate (LTO) is for the establishment, the business that manufactures, imports, distributes or sells the food. The Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) is for the individual product. Most food businesses need both.
